The children of South Africa are indeed the future of the country, and it is therefore very important that the leaders of South Africa set a good example for them so that a bright future can be expected.
However, due to poverty statistics in South Africa being very high, many children are not receiving the opportunity to education that is necessary to build a brighter future for themselves or the country.
The Helping Hand is a charity organization focused on youth development that offers children the following help that they are searching for:

The youth is what the future of South Africa is built upon. Unfortunately, however, with the poverty rates being at newer heights, and the youth struggling to get for themselves the same success which their forefathers enjoyed, the future of South Africa does not appear to be very bright at all.
The Solidarity Helping Hand Fund is therefore working towards ensuring a brighter future for the South African youth through their youth development project, with their focus being on the following:
• Alleviating poverty
• Bursaries
• Offering training
• Job creation
• Support and community upliftment
• Etc.
The youth development our young people are searching to receive for their pleasure of a brighter future, the Solidarity Helping Hand Fund can ensure great things to come for our youth.

It is particularly challenging for young women leaving the home to secure inexpensive accommodation in a new city that is also relatively safe. Whether they are students needing a ‘nest’, young women employed in the cities or visiting other cities for training, employment or holiday purposes, THE YW provides a caring home away from home. Countrywide THE YW houses accommodate +/-400 young women.
THE YW aims to provide accommodation which is conducive to maintaining a healthy witness to a Christian way of life. Residents attend a weekly youth service and there are optional Bible study groups available while Life Skills and Youth Development programmes are organized on a regular basis. Recreation facilities differ from residence to residence, but some indoor and outdoor activities are available in them all. THE YW libraries have a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books and all our residences have TV and video facilities.
